Hi everyone. I am interested in finding out whether others are experiencing
a similar problem to mine. In the past 6 months, discussion groups that I
belong to like this one, have been getting hard bounce messages that
indicate my email address does not exist. I have been in contact with my
email company 7 or 8 times to discuss this with very frustrating results.
No one seems to know exactly how to fix this, but lately the suspicion is
that the blacklisting company they use, SORBS, is somehow linked to this.
Despite web searches, I have not successfully been able to get in contact
with SORBS (the only phone number I found was overseas). They are evidently
pretty insulated. At this point, I am seriously considering changing my
email service but wonder if I will run into a similar problem with another
company.
Has anyone else had this problem with hard bounces with discussion group
messages that often result in their being removed from the discussion list?
Does anyone have an email service they would recommend as being reliable?
Does anyone have any information about SORBS that might help?
