Well, sorry it took so long to post a hit, I was I hoping for more responses. Thanks to those individuals who responded. ------------------------------------- I have purchased some "library lesson" books in the past and used those worksheets with very little success. I know rely on other types of resources to develop lessons. This website has terrific books to support your lesson development. http://www.lmcsource.com/tech/manage.html I also use www.vivisimo.com as a search engine to find lesson activities, some used with computers, and others to support standard storytime lessons. -------------------------------------- School Library Journal said about the Stretchy Library Lessons series that every library should own them. It is a series of six books from Upstart Press (division of Highsmith). Two of them are about library skills; the others are research, reading, multicultural activities and Seasons and Celebrations. You can order them directly from the publisher, with a discount for the more titles you buy. You might also want to investigate the Collaborative Bridges series -------------------------------------- Collaborating to Meet Standards: Teacher/Librarian Partnerships for K-6 by Toni Buzzeo has 18 fully collaborative units with state content standards in each content area addressed by the units. Collaborating to Meet Literacy Standards: Teacher/Librarian Partnerships for K-2 by Toni Buzzeo will be published fall 2006. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
