Does anyone know of any help out there for a student who is struggling with test anxiety? She's in fifht grade, and she's a pretty good student, but continues to score low on her tests. Take her math for example: She scored well above grade level on her STAR math test, as well way above normal for her SAT testing last year. In fact, Math shows to be her strongest area. BUT, she has not gotten anything better than a 'D' on a test this year. In fact, they had a pretest on a review unit earlier, and she aced it. Didn't get a thing wrong. BUT, when she took the post-test, she got a 'D-'! I don't know what to do for her. We keep telling her she is smart, building up the confidence, whatever, but she failed her last test horribly. Are there any great books or references out there that might be of use for this girl? THANKS!!
