Greetings! As the Ohio 3rd grade reading achievement test draws closer, I find that I need some library lesson plans that will reinforce reading skills and complement the reading instruction that the third graders are receiving in the classroom. Does anyone have some suggestions for teaching reference skills as well as an activity that explains the word genre, with examples of historical fiction, fables, non-fiction, fiction, etc.? If you have any web sites, book suggestions, or personal lesson plans, I would appreciate if you send them my way. Thank you! -- Fiona Casida Coordinator, Library and Media Services Copley-Fairlawn City Schools 3807 Ridgewood Road Copley, OH 44321 330-664-4955 fcasida@adelphia.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
