We have an 8th grade teacher who is planning a writing lesson in which she shows a
movie and then the students write a review of the movie. In the past, she has used
The Devil's Arithmetic but when she did the Holocaust unit this fall, her students
were not ready for that type of writing. So she used that movie for another skill.
She is looking for some movie suggestions. Language seems to be a major problem
with all of the movies she can come up with.
