[LM_NET] Keeping Remote Controls with their Equipment

LM_NETTERS,

We have remotes for much of our equipment - LCD/Data projectors and DVD
players.  I've color-coded them to match the DVD (for example) and have
written the last digits of their barcode number on the colored tape.

What do you do to help teachers return those remotes?  Has anyone put them
on a cord to make sure they don't get lost? Is there a creative person out
there who has a clever solution to this problem?

Sometimes teachers don't need a remote to get basic equipment to operate,
but DVDs often need the remote.
