Hello,

The 4th and 5th grades in my library are the hardest to control for me. Many just
want to be disengaged and not follow posted rules-- it makes it difficult to teach
those who are paying attention and doing the right thing -- I am thinking of
counting 1-2-3 and 2 and 3 have consequences (the principal suggested at #3 I can
send them to her and make a phone call home). Every teacher seems to have a
different method, so I am going to have to start one for library. I have them for
45 min 1x/wk for 2/3 of the school year. other times are not block.

Ideas???

Thank you,
Kim

p.s. most times I do not have an aide in the room -- which is long in size, it is
impacting my job!
