Hi, I live in the area that was "visited" in this
episode so the censorship got local airplay. I'm in
the Adirondacks but just across Lake Champlain from
Vermont and our local stations cover both states.

The segments I saw (I didn't see all of it, just
segments) were more about Vermont as a place to live
and the couple was treated as co-parents and the kids
as a family, rather than a "lesbian parented family."
More matter-of-fact than emphasized. What I saw did
not show overt displays of affection between the
women, just parenting.

But after last year's Superbowl, the amount of
censorship on the airwaves sure did escalate.

Best, Sara Kelly Johns
