It's the White House that has the problem.  I'm not sure that Bush's
nominee for Dept. of Ed. Secretary was even official before she contacted
PBS President Pat Mitchell to express her displeasure.  Unfortunately, PBS
and NPR are both starting to fall in line with the current administration.
 As a columnist for the Seattle PI wrote, PBS "...has become the Neville
Chamberlain of TV, a pitiable symbol of appeasement subject to every
funding threat the government issues."

Fortunately, WGBH in boston, the show's producer, is distributing it for
preview by other PBS stations.  KCTS in Seattle has chosen to air the
episode.
