Colleagues:

Here's a puzzler for sci-fi buffs: A teacher tells me she has a vague memory
of a favorite Ray Bradbury story that involves a mother who has a very
strange baby that has obviously been affected by, perhaps, nuclear exposure
or some other insidious environmental agent associated with the second world
war. She seems to remember that the mother was apparently oblivious to the
unusual quirks the baby exhibited. She'd like to revisit the story.

Does anyone happen to be familiar with it?

Here's an incentive: You'll score twenty points for giving me the title and
ten bonus points if you can tell me the title of an anthology or story
collection that contains the story.
