[LM_NET] budget cuts

There is a para-pro in my school who is going back to school to become a
classroom teacher and she came to me asking for a subject for a
persuasive speech.  She decided on the effect of library budget cuts
when reading is so important.  If you can direct me to recent articles
on this topic I would be so grateful.  She is very interested in this
topic and I told her that ya'll are the best and would provide her with
a lot of ideas.  If there is any interest I will post a hit after Feb.
15th (the deadline to spend the little money I have for new books).
