Colleagues, I checked the archives under Robert Sabuda and pop-up books and did not see this topic, but could have missed it. If you have bought Sabuda's books such as America the Beautiful, and Wizard of Oz for example; Are you letting them circulate normally? Is their location different in your library from what their stated Fic or Nonfiction category would indicate. We just purchased three of them, as wonderful examples of movable books, for examples for Art to use, and for a grade level project with movable books. I am trying to decide if I treat them like a piece of media, make them a kit, put them in reference, or just take our chances and let them circulate. Of course I will share any wisdom I receive in response.
