Dear LM_NET ers

I'm passing on the following question which is from a new International
School that will open in Beijing.

-------------------

I'm trying to buy a management system for the Library, as you know.
However, I am confused with the technical aspects! We will probably go
for the Folletts package called Destiny as this is common here in
Beijing, but I don't want to be tied to Folletts for all our books
orders.
They recommend a barcoding system called Code 39. Madeleine Lindley (UK
supplier) uses ISBN (EAN). My question is, can we buy a system that it
compatible to a range of barcodes?

-------------------

Any advice would be appreciated ... please email me directly and I'll
then forward your reply.

Many thanks

Chris

P.S. Hope you are enjoying Chinese New Year
