Sandy Schuckett's new book POLITICAL ADVOCACY FOR SCHOOL LIBRARIANS
(Linworth 2004) is phenomenal: a guidebook to how and what to do!
It's filled with practical suggestions and sample 'scripts' for you to
use, plus lots of examples of successful advocacy campaigns and
recommended additional resources.

Go for it!
