Earlier today I got this message. >One group in my class is preparing a celebration of the work of Laura Cornell, a >really fun illustrator. > >They (and me too) are having trouble finding good sites about her and her work. I >have tried a number of angles when searching, but mostly I get sites that list and >try to sell her books. Any ideas on a different approach? > >She is not yet in SATA or Children's Literature Review. > They have her descriptive author page from HarperCollins and what seems to be her personal webpage. I've listed these addresses below. They are hoping for more concrete information, but there seems to be the same few bits of information on these papers. Things like what school she went to, when she was born, etc. I've tried a search in EBSCO and only come up with book reviews, without much mention of the illustrator. Any suggestions? http://www.harpercollins.com/global_scripts/product_catalog/author_xml.asp?authorid=11964 http://www.lauracornellbooks.com/meet_laura.html Sarah S.
