There is no copyright problem here. Listening to the book on tape in
the classroom is covered in Section 110(a).

Subject: TARGET: Fair Use of Books on Tape

I've been a member of this list for some time, but this is my first
post.
If I'm not doing something right, I hope someone will tell me. (BTW,
this
is a *great* list!)

My question: Is playing a book on tape for a group covered by fair use?
The
information I found on the Web all seems to pertain to an
*individual's*
use of a recorded book.

This question came up in a discussion at my school about general
copyright
issues when a teacher asking about playing a recording of Out of the
Dust
for her middle school English class.
