I have coffee every morning for students at my high school. I also provide
assorted hard candy, numerous chess games always set up to play as well as
other board games, play rock music at a moderate volume, and have a casual
reading area with a sofa & chairs. The library is a very popular place all
day long, but research and other academic pursuits are always given priority
if space for the casual drop-ins is a problem. The parents help with the
cost of the coffee & supplies.
