[LM_NET] GEN: cataloging information in the Vertical File cabinet

Happy New Year everyone!

One of my projects for this term is to create a vertical file section
for our loose paper information (pamphlets, maps, brochures, etc.).

I would like some ideas on how to catalog these papers.  In the past I
have seen call numbers starting with VF.  

Any suggestions on how to label/catalog the vertical file info.?
