LM_NET Archive

I have a few websites and activities I can share:

1. I have just the kind of activity you need posted on my web page.
To get there, go to my library home page, scroll down towards the bottom
of the page, & click on the link that says "LM_NET Documents to Share".
Then look at the links under "Web Evaluation for Seniors".

2. This page has lots of info about evaluation. As you scroll through
it you will find additional bogus sites:
http://www.gananda.org/library/mshslibrary/wchorror.htm

3. Here is one of my favorite bogus sites:
http://scnc.hps.k12.mi.us/~hwmedia/encyclopedia/
There are lots of choices to click on. I think the Civil War one is
particularly funny. It can catch students who do not have a lot of
knowledge of the civil war and/or who do not read carefully.

Good luck with the project!

poetry and to put knowledge smack dab in the middle of the American

We have 2 English teachers who want their students to evaluate webpages
and
in the process would like for them to be exposed to bogus ones that
appear
legitimate. Thanks for your help.

'Tis the good reader that makes the good book; a good head cannot read
amiss: in every book he finds passages which seem confidences or
asides
hidden from all else and unmistakeably meant for his ear.
