[LM_NET] laser printers for macs

Hi colleagues,

I am in the process of researching laser printers that are compatible
with Macs.  Nearly each classroom in my school has an Epson 5700i laser
printer that is used with an older model of iMac.  They are rather old
and will soon need to be replaced.  It costs about $100 for
photoconductor units and $75 for toner cartridges.  I have 2 people who
need both.  For about $25 more, I feel like I can purchase a new
printer.  I was considering Hewlett Packard - 1300; however, HP does
not impress me since I've had problems before.  So, I'd like to know:

What printers you are using?
Are you happy with them?
Have you experienced any compatibility issues?
Any other problems?

Pros and cons, etc.
