[LM_NET] TECH: WordPerfect screen issues

Hello all,

My mother has recently upgraded to a computer running XP.  She is using
WordPerfect 9 for word processing.  When she types, strange things
happen on the screen:  letters "scrunch" up, overlap, and disappear.
(and reappear!)  She can highlight a line only to find out another line
has been highlighted instead.

Using Reveal Codes, she sees everything typed correctly, even if NOTHING
is visible at the top of her screen.  Printed documents do not reflect
the problem.  In other words, nothing is "scrunched" or deleted in hard
copy even though it appears this way on the screen.

Anyone seen this problem before?
