Can anyone out there either help me or point me in the right direction? My sister
lives in Chicago and has been in and out of work with a neck injury. She has
finally decided that she should take a leave of absence but is wondering about the
possibility of temporary disability, and other ways to help her pay for things
while she is off work (she has no sick leave or vacation left). She is also in need
of legal advice for some of her affairs but can't afford a lawyer. Does anyone know
where she could at least start doing some research and/or does anyone have any
information on how the system works in Illinois? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
