[LM_NET] Hit: Giver replacement

Thanks to all who responded to my plea last Friday for a book to
replace The Giver in our 8th grade curriculum.  The top 5 titles
suggested (in order) were:

Among the Hidden / Haddix
City of Ember / DuPrau
Messenger / Lowry
House of the Scorpion / Farmer
Gathering Blue / Lowry

I have provided this information to our LA department, along with
reviews for all titles (including The Giver), so that an informed
decision can be made.

Again, thanks!  You came through just like I knew you would.
