[LM_NET] Women's Issues - Worldwide

LM_Netters,

I'm in the process of putting together a list of women's issues for a
high school Global Studies class to research.  While issues related to
the Middle East are of great importance, we would also like to expose
students to issues beyond the Middle East, such as genital mutilation in
Africa.  If you have any ideas for topics, we would appreciate them!

Also, we do not have The Greenwood Encyclopedia of Women's Issues
Worldwide, but I'm considering purchasing it.  If you have this
reference set, what do you think of it?  It is expensive.  Is it worth
the money?
