I had a teacher schedule her class for research this week, and she asked me to provide a selection of fairy tales. The students were researching character development. We had VERY few fairy tales (plenty of myths & legends), so I'm now considering the purchase of more. However, this is the only request I've had for this genre all year. (I'm new here so I don't know about previous years.) Has anyone found the need for them at the high school level? Are there any titles you feel are absolutely necessary? There is money in the budget - I wouldn't be sacrificing anything essential for the purchase - but I don't want to buy them to simply take up shelf space and collect dust. Thanks in advance.
