Hi, Does anyone have a copy of the criteria that your district uses for selecting library materials along with how to challenge a book? Our district does not have detailed policies which I think that they should. I went to the ala webiste and they have a wonderful workbook that our librarians can use to get started at the following site but I think that this is too much to share with the board office at this time. http://www.ala.org/Template.cfm?Section=Dealing_with_Challenges&Template=/ContentManagement/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentID=11173 But first I would like to have something condensed to share with our board office so I can prove that we do not have the policies on file.
