Re: [LM_NET] 8th grade suspense

I'm working with a group of 5 8th graders (2 girls, 3 boys) on a literature circle. 
 We met today and they mentioned they all enjoy mystery, suspense, horror and 
mythology.  They voted and prefer to read a modern realistic fiction with no love 
story involved.  

Does anyone have some great suggestions for a few titles I might put before the 
group ?
