Does this story sound familiar to anyone? I'm trying to locate a picture book, probably published in the late 60s, early 70s, about visiting grandma and grandpa on the farm. In the winter, it's so cold that their words freeze in their kitchen, and they have to thaw them out in a frying pan! It's very funny, and I would really like to find it again. The illustrations, as I recall, are fairly simple line drawings, with little color. I'd appreciate any help. Many thanks, Cathy Marciniak Children's Librarian Fuller Public Library Hillsboro, NH "Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes people come alive, and then go do it.
