I run an Equestrian Summer Camp each year and used the following themes:
Pirates of the Caribbean (crafts: treasure chests, necklaces, etc)
Arabian Nights (crafts: decorate a small oil lamp, create Arabian horse tack)
Christmas in July (crafts: ornament, candy jar, star magnets)
If we'd had time to use literature as part of the camps there are
many, many books and stories that would go with these themes. We also
used the themes for camp dress up day (costume parade with the campers
and their horses). Hope this helps!
