[LM_NET] TARGET: sandburg excerpt?

Hi all,

One of my teachers is looking for an excerpt from Carl Sandburg that
includes the sentence "A baby is God's opinion that life should go on."
I've been able to verify that the quote is indeed attributed to
Sandburg, but I haven't been able to find the source, or the paragraph
in which the sentence appears.  Any ideas?  It would be greatly
appreciated (and the teacher would be impressed).
