[LM_NET] Target: pet rocks

I would like to do an activity with pet rocks with my K-2 grade students.  Does 
anyone know of any books that could be used with this activity?  If nothing else, I 
thought about using a story like "Arthur's Pet Business" and talk about how we can 
have all different kinds of pets.  I was really hoping to find a story ABOUT a pet 
rock, or even one about a rock.  Any ideas?
I'll post a hit if there's interest.
