[LM_NET] Reading Incentive

My school is doing a reading incentive called "REading Makes a Difference, Make a 
Difference Read!"  We are tying the theme into our spring musical "Seussical" and a 
service project to raise money for pediatric cancer.  The theme is basically that 
one small person can make a difference.  Can you all think of any book titiles for 
MIDDLE SCHOOL that tie into the theme that one small person can make a 
difference????  I really appreciate any help that you can give. I want to give out 
a book list of 
suggested reading.
