I would like to purchase audiobooks for my middle school students but need some advise on formats and circulation. I know that most kids have walkmans. Should I try to purchase only CDs? How do you circulate this material? Looking at various catalogs and online sites, these formats are very expensive and many times one book includes multiple cassettes and CDs. Should I have teachers sign out audiobooks for students to use ONLY in the classrooms? Should I package a paperback book with the audiobook? Does anyone know of any type of grant money available to start this type of collection? Thanks for the help. Have a great weekend.
