I told an Israeli friend that I'd help her out by soliciting LM_NET for some
information to help a colleague of hers who works in an Israeli high school, where
she teaches English. Many of her students have learning disabilities. Here's what
she's looking for:

"I am searching the net in an effort to find a site with short stories that could
be interesting to the kids. The point is that my LD kids have problems reading and
if i want to enhance their reading I must make them read. However, reading is
difficult for them and the stories are not interesting enough. I tried looking at
drug-related stories, namely personal stories. I spent some two hours and came up
with two stories. I went to look for personal stories in the anorexia field and
could not come up with any. Do you have any idea regarding sites, maybe not
personal stories, but just stories."

Thanks for your help. According to my friend, her colleague is a wonderful teacher
and will be grateful for any help!
