My mother is teaching a graduate class in which she requires her students to read books currently popular with upper level students. As I'm in an elementary position, I'm not really up on what the older kids are reading. I'd appreciate any help with the following questions: What books are most popular with your students? (not just the good stuff they should be reading, but the stuff they really ARE reading) AND... At what age are the books popular? (I.e., A Child Called It, 8th-12th grade) Thanks for any help!
