I was never particularly successful in drawing students to the card catalog,
but they love the computer.  Even my early primary children crowd around the
screen as one of them searches for their favourite authors or subjects.
Being able to see if the book is on the shelf is part of the attraction.  I
still like having the "series" books shelved separately as students want to
read them in order and like to see them all lined up.
