Here is the hit that I promised. Thank you to everyone for their help. One person sent me a pdf document, but I don't know how to put that into this hit. Check out this website. This might be what you're looking for. http://everyschool.org/u/vinci/biography/biography_book_report.htm Barbara Kauffman Media Specialist Winston Park Elem Coconut Creek, FL ************************************************** See if this site will help you http://atozteacherstuff.com/pdf.htm?cube_outline.pdf I must have missed the orginal discussion, but I like the idea. This pattern fits on 8 1/2 X 11, but you might be able to tell it to fit on the 17 inch paper. Would you send me any other patterns if you get them. ******************************************************************** You just fill in the information about the book report on the cube from what I understand. You can also use the cube in a lesson where you let the students roll the cube and then they tell the answer whatever part is facing up--so if title is facing up--they give the title of the book that you are displaying or the title of their own book, etc. ******************************************************* Here's a link: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art15943.asp ****************************************************** I was given directions for making a book report cube by another librarian, but I lost the directions and I am unable to contact her. I was hoping maybe someone could help me. The cube is done on 11 x 17" paper and is flat, but then cut out and put together to make a 3-D cube. Each side has information on it, such as title, author, illustrator; summary of book; characters; favorite part; picture; student's name. I'm not sure if I'm missing anything. Does this project sound familiar to anyone? Thank you.
