Explore America's fascination with its national pastime through photographs, personal accounts, films, and memorabilia - including baseball cards from 1887! Please join Library of Congress staff this afternoon for a Web conference introducing some of the baseball-related treasures to be found on the Library's Web site. When: Wednesday, July 13, 2:00 p.m. (E.D.T.), 1:00 p.m. CST To attend, go to: http://67.19.231.218/v4/login.asp?r=67955673&p=0 Type your name and click Enter to go into the online room. A small software applet will download to your computer as you enter the room. All that is needed is an Internet connection, sound card, and speakers. A headset with microphone will enable you to speak to the group. Note: Use of Internet Explorer is recommended.
