Hi, We have subscriptions to several great subscription databases (EBSCO, Newsbank, Britannica, etc), but find they continue to be the best kept secret in the District despite our efforts to inform. I think students and teachers would use them if they understood what they are. We are trying to think of a cool descriptive sort of name for the group of databases. For instance, kids know Google, but don't know Newsbank. I even think they understand the words "search engine" more than they know "database". I know there are wonderful creative librarians out there in LM_Net land who can help.
