[LM_NET] TAR: Elem: Revolution Novel

Dear Colleagues,
A 5th grade teacher is looking for a read-aloud that demonstrates the 
concept of revolution through a novel. He mentioned "Flying Solo" where 6th 
graders run their classroom for one day when the sub. teacher doesn't show 
up. But he wants something that covers a longer period. "Lord of the Flies" 
is too harsh, etc.  I am hoping that you can help me with some suggestions.
