In the summer of 1969 I was 16 and working as a hotel maid in Cheyenne Wyoming. I
had gotten off work and was bicycling home, which was a pretty good ride. I would
stop at different places and watch the TV, then if it looked like nothing would
happen for a bit, I would ride on further. There wasn't much traffic to impede me.
I made it home, and got to watch the final landing. What I remember most was Walter
Cronkite's reaction.
