Well, it is almost 50-50, but a few more for cold loading. Some even do it both ways, depending on how fast someone needs the laminator. I know it works cold, since I did it that way for 7 years, but I didn't want to damage the rollers (though I never damaged mine at the old school). I will look for the manual online after I get the model number at school, but unless it warns emphatically not to, I'll do it cold to save my fingers. Thanks for all the info!
