Here are some to add:

Use the computer's "tickler files" to add birthdates to the calendar so I don't
forget --and reminders that will pop up at least three days in advance to give me
time to buy gifts or send cards.

Set alarms on my computer so I'll know when the next class starts or ends---if I'm
busy online and don't hear the bell or don't realize that the next class is on it's
way to the library!

Use my flash drives to download documents that I want to work on while I'm away
from the office or on the road---especially if I can't access my hard drive from
off-campus.

Subscribe to Audible.com to download some of the best books out there (both YA and
adult books--more likely, adult titles that I never get to read during the year) to
my MP3 player---I can then listen to them from the MP3 player or later burn to CD
those books that I didn't have the chance to read / hear. (build my audible
collection)

While I am in my OPTIMISTIC mode at the beginning of the school year and I
still believe I will accomplish all those Tasks in my To DO lists, I thought
I'd ask what little things you will be doing this year to make your life easier
 particularly taking advantage of technologies.

Here are some of my resolutions:
Encourage every teacher to turn on the captions on their TV's
Use the calendar and alarm feature on my cell phone
Set alarms to ring at the end of afterschool meetings so I go home on time!
Keep my digital voice recorder in the cupholder of my car since I have my
most brilliant ideas while traffic is at a stand-still.
Use the folders in my email including: Keepers, Print & Pitch Me's, Do on
the weekend
Print my blank excel scheduler and fill in LUNCH time ahead of time. (If I
change it, I'll earn flexibility points with teachers)
Backup daily the new files that would be inconvenient to lose. Do it while
packing daily until it is a regular habit.

Any other optimistic ideas?
