"The July/August Adbusters magazine will be a special issue focusing on
education and media literacy.
Entitled "The Game of Life," the magazine aims to give students the tools
they need to jump over the great divide between passive consumption and the
empowered production of meaning. It discusses ways in which we can change
how information flows, how we interact with the mass media, and how media
and culture are created in our society. The goal is to show students that
anyone can seize the media reins and begin producing their own media and
their own real meaning.
Adbusters is offering this special issue to educators for the discounted
rate of $5 for single copies and $3 for bulk orders of 10 or more. To place
