the tradition here is to walk around the outside of the building - and we
are on 48 acres!!! -- but they usually stick very close to the building---
the tradition is to walk around the number of times for the year -- although
lately the tradition seems to be dead -- no walking for past 2 years.... In
fact, most traditions seem to have died...they are just too busy outside of
school working, etc. I've never heard the alma mater in the 5 years I have
been here.... and only 53 seniors (out of 106) came to the senior Mass and
brunch yesterday with their parents - which was OK with me as it was 87
degrees outside and a lot hotter inside.
