My PC has had a conniption and is intensive care (prognosis may recover some
movement after a hard drive transplant) and I need a copy of a post I made
to the list recently about what my students believe the value of picture
books to be. It included a line about making up for an imagination not yet
developed and another about some stories being great but too short to be a
novel.

I have looked in the archives but they are only up to April so I think I
must have sent the message in early or mid-May. I had pneumonia late-May,
early-June and was not posting to the list then. It was posted after a hit
on the subject.

As soon as I receive it, I will post a message to the list so please glance
through your inbox after you read this so you don't waste your time sending
it again.

Thanks
Barbara
