A friend wants to reread the SE Hinton books and another book that he
thought was called Brothers of the Road. This is his description of the
book: The story is about two brothers. It starts out where the older
brother is gone and then he comes home. He's a biker and he's been away
riding around the country. It goes on how the two brothers get to know
each other better and develop a closeness. The older brother helps the
younger one find a bike of his own. A Triumph if I remember correctly.
At the end the drive off together on their motorcycles. I think their
Mom made them jackets that said "Brothers of the Open Road". That's
where I might be thinking the title comes from.
