Just a note about the translation websites -- our
filter blocks them because students were using them
(babelfish mostly) to beat the filter and access
unacceptable websites. They'd translate terms like
"playboy" into German, and then access the German
playboy site because it wasn't filtered. (I should
say that almost all of this activity occured in the 3
computer labs that are open to students - but
unsupervised - when no classes are scheduled into the
labs, not the library.)

Wish they'd put half the energy into their homework
that they use in trying to beat the filter!
