For Lord of the Flies - I would do something about gang mentality, crowds,
brainwashing, the presence of evil in humankind, society controlling the
individual, etc.

I need to help our 9th grade English teacher come up with a research
question for the novel The Lord of the Flies. She does not know where to
begin and she has 180 freshmen to work with. Do any of you have a good
research paper idea that we could use with this novel. It needs to be
rather extensive where the students can use magazine, newspaper and
literature databases. I have done some research on my own but I am not
finding what she wants. AAAAHHH! I hope you all can help.

Thanks,
