I am a former Spanish teacher. These were some of my favorite resources. for catalogs try Teachers Discovery & Carlex & Color Connection http://www.teachersdiscovery.com http://www.carlexonline.com/intro.asp http://color-connection.com/ A listserv that your teachers can subscribe to that I found to be an invaluable resource (much like LM_NET) is FL-TEACH http://www.cortland.edu/flteach/ You can also search their archives for related questions TPRS (Total Physical Response Storytelling) is a complete methodology that is less grammar driven with communication as a major goal. The premise is that students learn the language and grammar authentically much as a child learns his/her first language. It's very powerful, imho.
